About the position: The clinical therapist will provide outpatient mental health therapy online. Therapy services include individual, group, and/or couples/family therapy, with treatment specialties including PTSD, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. There are part-time and full-time opportunities. A full-time clinician will see 15-20 clients weekly at Prickly Pear Therapy. A part-time clinician will see 12-15 clients per week.
As a bilingual group practice, we can offer benefits including a steady stream of referrals, administrative support through insurance credentialing, scheduling, screenings, billing, and marketing, clinical support through bi-weekly case consultation including support specifically for bilingual (Spanish and English) clinicians, bi-weekly educational seminars on diversity, trauma-informed care, and eating disorders, and comfortable office space (including group and assessment rooms). This position will report to Licensed Psychologists, Drs. Serrata and Hurtado.
About You: Our ideal candidate is a versatile therapist with experience in providing multicultural services (preferably bilingual) and trauma-informed care. The clinician must hold a Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work; active, unrestricted license (Ph.D., Psy.D, LCSW, LMFT or LPC) in the State of Texas (must be fully licensed); and be willing to be an in-network provider on at least one Prickly Pear Therapy & Training affiliated insurance panels. Most importantly, we are hoping to find someone who is comfortable working with clients of diverse backgrounds and identities and who brings to the table a warm, engaging, and fun dynamic. Our clients come to us with a variety of concerns but common issues we address are anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, suicidality, and eating disorders. Schedule: Clinician will be expected to hold a caseload of 15-20 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Prickly Pear Therapy & Training. The practice provides services from Monday through Friday during office hours (9:00 am-6:00pm)
Benefits: This position and salary are based on a percentage for your billed services.
