About Janeth

Janeth is a bilingual and bi-cultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering group therapy to clients with diverse identities and abilities.

Seeking therapy is a vulnerable process, particularly for clients who may not have had the experience of being seen & and accepted for their whole selves. She strives to hold a safe, culturally affirming space for clients of marginalized identities.

Janeth is a strong believer in the power of connection for healing and brings a warm, empathetic approach to her work with clients. Her own identity as a bilingual/bicultural Mexican immigrant (and long-time Tejana!) informs her perspective.

Her areas of interest include complex trauma, depression, anxiety, family of origin issues, disenfranchised grief, and disability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What insurance networks do you accept?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. If you use another provider, you may be eligible for reimbursement, but that would fall outside of our control. Otherwise all payments would be made out of pocket.

How do I get matched with a counselor?

We use a specialized pre-screening process with our clinic intake coordinator, who will determine the best fit based on presenting issue and clinician availability.

What is the appointment cancellation policy?

We require a $50 cancellation fee for all cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment.

How much will I pay per session out of pocket?

There are a variety of payment methods that will determine out of pocket costs. For example, if your insurance covers our sessions you will most likely be responsible for a co-pay. If you are paying fully out of pocket those rates can vary depending on the type of therapy and client situation.

How quickly can I start seeing someone?

Typically first sessions can occur as early as 1-2 weeks from starting the onboarding process, pending clinician availability.

What if I’m seeking help on behalf of someone else?

We can gather as much information as possible, but it is imperative that the client receiving services answer the pre-screening questions directly with our coordinator.
